Poor souls.
Here in Sweden you can run yor ADSL up to 8 mbit, and after that you can get VDSL, if you are closer than 300 meters to the "base station" then you get 26 mbit all thru the telephone jacket thats cool

Bah we can already get 2mb in UK using the BT system.
But i note they do not mention they would actually prefer people to be on the newer IPstream option as its reduces the providers costs.
So if they do not tell us that, they can of course charge us more for a "better sytem" and win both ends of the deal.

Here in Finland, these ones deciding things went with the digital TV, instead of internet connections, like in Sweden.
Digital TV thing = useless crap compared to the internet connection upgrades.
Oh well.. I've had 512kbps connection for quite a while and prior to summer upgraded to 1mbps.

BT blow goats.
I saw a piece in The Register (http://www.theregister.co.uk) just the other day saying BT were about to trial 2Mb ADSL. Well I say: poxy.
