Yea the pitchers are getting tired, but what's up with the bats? They couldn't hit a couple of kids just up from AAA.

The kids'd load the bases with walks, (then when Lou would lose it) start throwing down the heart of the plate and all the Mariner top hitters could do is strikeout, and pop the ball up?

hey common what do you expect they never try and improve the pitching at the end of the year. It's my right as a capitalist consumer.

Yeah... the M's didn't do well on the trip through Bean town... though they did better than Oakland against the sox at home.

Still quite a few games left in the season with a couple of head to head series.

it will all come down to their head to head games. it isnt over, but it dosnt look good. Unless they make soriano a starter now , and somehow he develops another pitch.

It's a 1 game lead.  3 games made up in the last 10.  6 of those 10 against Boston.

the boston fans need to go back into their little hole. They have no excuse for not being #1 in their division.

yankees are not an excuse. they are weak this year. your team is cursed forever give up on them. And your stadium is a overrated piece of trash. takes 3 innings to get a ****ing hotdog that sucks anyways.

A pop fly in left field is a automatic GRD in Boston

Right, especially with their horrible pitching (Mussina, Clemens, Benitez...) and their infield sucks also with Jeter, Soriano, Giambi, Posada.  Even if the Yankees are weak they should still dominate the AL East.  The Red Sox are amazing considering how many no-names they have.  Garciaparra, Ramirez, and Martinez are the only three that really stick out in my mind.

A baseball park is not a baseball park without the atmosphere.

thats why fenway was rated better then yankee stadium in a recent espn review ;)

there's nothing like a sox game at fenway. you're more a part of the game then anywhere else.

i guess not winning a world series for 4 times my lifespan does that to us.

sox aren't outta it yet. if the chisox can beat up mussina tonight then we might go into the 3 game series with the yanks only 3 games back.

oh btw, i rented a room at my resort a month or so ago to derek lowe. coolest guy i've ever met. his wife is super hot too.

I wish my team were playing 62 games a year in that stadium, with only 300 feet to left field wall (the green monster) a good bunt will get you a ground rule double. Thats the only reason Bostons been able to be around during play off time.

Astros are the worst at this! Dp a google and look how many times they've started August in 1st place only to lose it by the end of the month.
