Post by: JBA on August 29, 2003, 02:28:12 PM
I'm sure theres a thread out there to answer this. Maybe someone can post the link?
I'm on 2000 pro now and once I enter the hanger boom back to desk top.
I will go to XP home in a week will I see the same problems and if so how do I fix it?

I've just built a new system and have been getting a similar problem. Occasional CTDs when I spawn or die, (maybe 1 time in 20).  Currently I'm experimenting with reducing acceleration on the on board sound. This seems to have reduced the problem, but it is too early to say for sure.

System is as follows:

P4C 2.8
Asus P4C800E
1024mb RAM
Radeon 9800 Pro
380W PSU
Using onboard sound, RAID and NIC
Windows XP Home, DX 9.0b
All the latest drivers/MS updates etc.
