Don't listen to Furball, dang that thing looks powerful and mean yeah power more power!!!! and looks like it can take more than a few hits too!

Which P47s had the paddle blades anyway? would love to see some extra performance from the Jugs where applicable.

Wow, that's some kind of gorgeous.  Being lazy myself, though, and prefering smaller assembled models, I'm still waiting to find the 1/72 diecast Jug in the new National Hall of Fame series from Matchbox Collectibles.

MX-W "bar"  from Lt. Robert R Bosworth, 78FG-82FS :D

Ah2 custom skins will bring all this Fester. Guess who's waiting to make most of the Jug squadrons?:p (maybe ponies too).

For AH2, you can leave the wing pylons off thank you, but I'll keep that Hamilton Standard paddle blade and the 150 gallon bath tub tank. ;)

The "Miss Behaye", I think, was a D-22.

Ill never understand how such a big fat bird could be such a great fighter. I mean look at the 109. Its small and agressive but the P47...

Well you don't find 8 12.7mm agressive ?

Add to that performance at altitude and range it give a not so bad fighter :)

Il2 has that P47 in it? hmm guess I haven't played enough, now I gotta go look for it :D BTW, the graphics in IL2 wow, when compared to the real thing it's not far off is it, even if it is just a model.
Oh nice picture taking too, looks like the exact angle n everything :)

not to mention that it has 10 rockets and can carry 2 1000 and 1 500 lb bombs. watch for the history channel about the p47 shows what a few of them can do to a small town that the germans failed to surrender from/.. shows you hitting a horse and cart. with the 50's, you can see the horse lift off of ground, was a good program to see the P47 in action
