Liter.

$2.29/gal for 89 octane.... ouch.
Here in California.

I will always complain about gas prices with a bit of caution... I remember seeing UK gas prices when I was over there. I remember thinking, "lucky bastards, it's a bit cheaper here and they have more efficient cars." And then I remembered they're paying by the liter, so gas was in the neighborhood of 3x more expensive than here.
It went down to 1.76/gal today... hopefully after Labor Day it'll drop further.

$2.41 tonight... 12 @#$@#$ gallons.
-
Lucky for me my company pays for my truck and all my gas :)

$1.62 here. A big jump from a year or two ago when it was 99 cents.
In Hawaii it's anywhere from $2.09 to $2.30.
-
dang it's $1.65 for mid grade here in Texas, it must be getting high everywhere else! Even back in the "crisis" 6 months ago it only got up to about $1.60. Hopefully it will start going back down this week...
-
well paying 71 cents/litre here today.
I think its about 3.7 litre to the us gallon.
Factor in the current exchange rate between the US and Canadian dollar and it works out to about US $1.83 per gallon.
Freaking robbery when you consider that approximately 43% of that is taxes.

The higher your cost of living the more they gouge... $2.25 for 87octane in the south bay.
