Im gonna really have to be careful with my money when im buiding my new puter..
Will a ati radeon 9100 or 9200 be enough to get nice enough fps in AH2? i have to run at 1280*1024 res (cause my lcd is that res) I will hopefully be able to buy a real card in about a year.
Or should i just wait a few more months and get 9500/9600 ?
Keep in mind that the only game i will play is AH/AH2
Rest of the puter will be xp1800 (or abit better) and 256mb ram (512 abit later)
Any advice on PSU? will 300 be enough or should i go for 350/60.
If i had buildt my puter a few months ago price would not have mattered but with new boat on order and incomming baby ill have to build as cheap as possible and still get acceptable fps :(
The only place that im not gonna "save" money is on the motherboard (AMD). I want to have firewire, SATA, USB2, lan and a card thats known to be stable (would like pci-x, but cant find it yet).
Any tips from anyone on a good mobo with these features would be great id rather have a bigbrand name so im sure to get it here in norway.

The 9200 is a repackaged 8500LE. A bit slow. The 9100 is slower still. Should be playable with the 9200, but don't expect high frame rates.

Yeah, i knew it is kinda crappy but i was hoping i didn't have to shell out more to get decent fps in 1280*1024 res.
Guess ill just have to wait abit until i can afford a better card.
Thx alot for the inpu tho, better to know now than to throw the $ out the window :)

Btw..
Is the radeon 9000 "series" actually worse than the benchmark system's geforce2 ?
