in the television news media?
Personally, I admire Tim Russert, Bill O'Reilly and Chris Matthews....they get with it and hold their guests accountable.
The others, well, I won't go there.
-
Craig Kilborn...before he went to CBS and became some egotistical pompous ass.
Stuart Scott is pretty good, until I catch sight of that funky eye of his...then I just can't look away from the damn thing.

Any reporter or anchor person that reports the news without emotion (showing thru body language their opinion) and reports without a nod, raise of the eyebrow, tone of voice that condenscends, etc. They're far and few these days.

David Horowitz. He speaks from a great deal of direct personal experience.

I enjoy Keith Olberman of MSNBC. He was even better as a local sportscaster.

Seconded on Jon Stuart. The Daily Show team did an amazing job during the presidential election. They did a great job of lampooning both sides equally, very WC Fields, and deserved the Peabody they got.

Candy Dulfer rocks I saw her live a lllooonnnggg time ago before she recorded her first album in a little bar. She absolutly smoked the place. Plus she freakin beautifull. Allso saw her play at the Paladium in hollywood she played some sax parts in a recorded pink floyd lazer show. Her album Saxuality is one of my all time fav.

except for the gulf wars and 911 and the last presedential election.... I haven't watched the news in over 10 years. Nor have I read a newspaper unless It had to do with me or the City. and then... it was, of course, completely wrong and I was totaly misquoted or... if I said nothing... it was made up from thin air.
I watch fox news when something major happens. I look at the pictures and try to figure out what is really happening... sometimes you have to turn down the sound.
