Seafire (for the British fleets)

LVT's available for both sides.
PT boats available for both sides.

Fuel bunker hardness increased slightly.
City and VH downtimes decreased to 10 minutes.
Radar settings CT normals.

Note:  To arrange the fleets and their corresponding ports with the desired owners, there are some airbases that will be CLOSE together.
Ostwind and Tiger will not be enabled this setup.

NOTE:  Rook HQ and A13 are in the southwest corner of the map.  Do NOT capture A13.  It will reset the arena and cause nothing but headaches for your fellow Combat Theater participants.

As always, remember this is a game.  Please conduct yourselves as gentlemen (and ladies if applicable) at all times.  Good natured taunting and banter is okay, but repetitive and/or obnoxious language/rants/smack is discouraged.

Thanks!

you got the seafire.

and the spit9...  you saying the spit9 is too hard to fly?

besides this isn't a "historical" setup. so if allies get spit5's, axis should get, ohhh ummmm a6m5's maybe or ummmm spit5's too.

:D

hmmm, no... i saw a sly whine. did you not comprehend what eddiek wrote about the setup?  it's not "historical" and if he wanted the spitV included, i'm sure he would have put it there.

duh.

fess up, you just can't handle a spit9 vs the axis line up.

notam: i replied to this last night asking why no 38's and when i re-read what eddiek wrote, i removed that post because, hey, it's not "historical" and if he wanted 38's there, he'd have put them there.

no furball, it's an expression of the size of my, errr, joystick in mm. and mine is still bigger than yours. ;)

Erm, in European setups (other than Finland) I usually fly Allied but this setup looks a bit too stacked for the Allies.

The Typhoon will be an absolute monster in this setup.  The Germans have nothing that can catch it.  Nothing that comes close to catching it.

I know it is not a historical setup, but so far as I know Typhoons never served outside of Europe.  Mosquitoes did serve in the Med Theater.  Mossies would also serve the jabo role of the Typhoon and the heavy firepower role without being uncatchable.

LOL this setup is a joke...  Right? :)

Lets tet rid of Typhoon and D25 and add the FW190A8 instead of the uselesss F8... Add Mossie instead of Typhoon.

If it's an ahistoric setup anyway.. how'zbout..

Planesets:

Axis:
C202
FW-190A5

Ju-88
FW-190F8
C-47
Ju-87
PNZR
M8
M16
M3

Allies:
P-47D11
P-40E

A-20 "Boston"
Mosquito MkVI
C-47
PNZR
M8
M16
M3

...

202 for P-40Es
Fw190A-5s for P-47D-11s
Ju88 for BostonMkIIIs
Fw190F-8 for Mosquitos
Ju-87 for unfair Axis bias

No Naval milkrunning, no Spits and Hurris, no 109s.. ?
Let's see if the popularity of the Allies can fare as it used to, without Spits and Hurris, and vice versa for Axis without their loved 109s ;)

 Just a suggestion eddieK.

Well .. besides thinking the planeset is unbalanced....

What is the attraction for stupid ack things?

In the Finnish CT we had damned DDs wandering around throwing 5" shells to 15k or better.

Now we have trains with 5" ack..  trains running in friendly territory.. shooting planes sitting on the runway.....

(shakes head)

We get on the edge of having a great CT and do something stupid with computer generated stuff?

gotta agree with 4510

the flak in the middle of nowhere, over your own field detracts from the otherwise good setup
