Title: Rome: Total War
Post by: Dowding on September 04, 2003, 02:02:18 PM
It is being used in the BBC program 'Time Commanders' - Schadenfreunde was trying to recruit a team for it. It's on TV now, fellow Brits.

The footage of RTW is amazing.

The battle they did for the show was great. They had elephants which charged into some heavy Legionnaires, sending them flying. :D

Looks to be a real winner.

That's a great game series. A bit over my head, but was fun.

Any chance for a video link on that show previewing it?

I've looked but can't find anything. There's stuff on the BBC's website about the show though. The next episode deals with the battle of Mons Graupius - Romans versus Caledonian barbarians (Scottish brave-heart types).

Hopefully it isn't such a big managing nuisance when time goes on as the medieval series is.
It begins nicely.. but then 'a few' years later its a management hell.
