Title: win 98 usb problem

precision pro 2 joystick worked fine yesterday.  

Today, Win 98 doesn't recognize it.  Plug it in.. nothing.  Won't show on game controller list.

I'm stumped.  Thought maybe one of the gurus around here may of heard of this problem and have a solution.

other usb devices on same pc work fine btw.

Microsoft has a few patches for USB related problems. You checked there?
