I am doing the NY area for my first terrain. I got the USGS maps and converted them into the AH format. Now what do I do?
BTW, this is the map of the area im working on: http://personal.palouse.net/ferens/NY.jpg (http://personal.palouse.net/ferens/NY.jpg)
It is virtually real size (1.01:1).

D'ya get the 1MB file of instructions on how to create terrains? It's separate from the actuall app. I haven't yet tried it, but a *brief* perusal suggested that all the instructions were there.
G'luck.

Also, a new forum opened up for terrain editor discussions. TONS of great info, tips, resources and links in there already...highly recommended reading.

Oops, wrong forum... Yes, I did get the TE instructions, but they do not explain everything. I am still having major problems with making clipboard maps, and the other stuff I mentioned. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/redface.gif)

Don't forget to bug HTC and get them to release a "Statue of Liberty" object. It'd rule to do a formation flyby of her (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
I guess until we get her, you could always use the monstrous Beer bottle in her place (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
