Title: Streaming music over the net. Which app uses less resources?

I enjoy streaming http://www.knac.com and http://www.live365.com most of the day. Just curious which applicatoins uses less resources. REAL PLAYER or WMP9.0?

I don't like either one personally. I am an old school WinAmp guy from the early days. I know its fairly resource heavy but I like it.

I still stream from the Musicmatch radio, also resource heavy. But, I like it.  If I had to use one of the chooses you have, I would pick WMP.  I have had nothing but trouble with realplayer.

I wouldn't use any software from Real Networks even if I had to. Its all advertisement crap and it always blows.

Kinda going off on a tangent here, but I recently found this site which has real compatible software without all the real software crap.  I tested it on some real streaming sites and it worked great:  http://www.freecodecs.com/

The media player classic program that it comes with does a great job of playing just about any media file, even playing DVDs.
