Resolve the vox comms problem. What an incredible pain in the neck. Lose all vox 3-10 times per evening (typically 1-2 hours) and if I push it (don't reboot, just relog), I lose all sound eventually.

Do you have onboard sound by any chance?

No ack-ack, onboard sound disabled and using SBLive. I have sound acceleration dialed back to 50%. I've done everything suggested by Skuzzy & others.

My vox has also worked poorly of late. Used to work perfect though, so I am suspecting something internet related is at work.

Did you see this little blurb on the tech boards?
If you have interrupt conflicts/sharing with any Sound Blaster board, you will have problems, such as video graphics stutter, lost sounds, general Internet connectivity issues, or any combination of the above.
Using the "System Information" tool, you can see what interrupts are being used in your computer system. NOTE: It is safe to ignore the various "Steering" interrupts.

bah. its gotta be server side or net related. Especially if 10+ are getting this all at once.
-
It used to be that only a squadie on vox would lock me up. In the last few weeks I have also been getting locks from range voice pilots.
-
This is very common.. In fact my whole squad often losses it at the same time. It's not just client related.
-
Ive got SB live.Never had an issue with sound.Has to be something else.

That's been my feeling all along.

First time ever, last week, same hardware for the last 2 years with the exception on my vid card. Vote=server side
