Ditto what Mini said Grun...I haven't been there in a while. matt@hoffman.org

This is Grun's sister (but he seems to think I'm his secretary). I've just talked to the man himself, comfortably ensconced as he is in a Washington hotel about 100 miles south of Seattle, and was instructed to visit the holy message board and post this in his name.
Mini D and SOB: He's already been to Evergreen, but he wonders if perhaps the three of you could set something up next week when he's on his way back.
Ripsnort: He wants to know what you mean by "advance notice." He's leaving for Seattle tomorrow morning and will be staying in the area for the next couple of days.
He's going to try to get online from Seattle so that he can check the board and get in touch with you guys.
Humbly,
- GrunSis

Well... to the lady that admits being Grunherz's sister...
Tell him SOB and I would be more than happy to meet him on the way down. We have a special suprise for him that we save for people that hit town without letting us know. Tell him not to worry though... cause we're going to have to save a bit for MT at the NW mini-con.
SOB posted his e-mail in this thread and knows how to get ahold of me Drop him an e-mail and we'll try to meet up with him.

First off, my heartfelt sympathy to you and your plight. Perhaps you could take this opportunity to move far far away and not leave a forwarding phone #. The US is a big place, he'd never find ya! :D
Second, what Mini said.

Hey, that's where I live. Where in BC, Grun?
Are you old enough to drink?

Put it away SOB. She used the word "ensconced" in a complete sentance. She's much too sophisticated for you. You might want to set your sites a bit lower, like a girl that can actually use the word "yes" in a complete sentance.

what a golden opportunity, his sister.
surely you have some embarrassing childhood stories to share ma'am
-
How do we know this is really Grunherz's sister and not that one dude's co-worker who caused all kinds of trouble a few months back?
-
how do we know you aren't "that one dudes co-worker"? are you really you?
:p

This is Grun's sister (but he seems to think I'm his secretary).
Hello Grunhertz sister, can you please post an pic of yourself, and a telephone number.
Thx in advance :D
-
Ripsnort and Mini D - Since you guys are online right now (and I'm still doing secretarial work), my brother would like you to e-mail your phone numbers to him at filipm@comcast.net. I have access to his e-mail account and can give him the numbers so he can call you. Please do that as soon as you read the post because I'm on the phone with him as I type.
Grun suggests that the easiest way to prove that this is really coming from him is to write something about "mother****ing communist mother****ers."
The phone number thing goes the same for Nash and SOB whenever you guys get online.
Officially,

Will do!

Grun (or sister)
Tried to contact you in your room tonight, but to no avail. Directions to the Flight Museum:
Heading S out of Seattle, 6 miles, take the 158 exit (Airport Way), you'll drive by the airstrip (boeing field) then take the exit. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT ontoS. Boeing Access Rd., Then Slight Right onto East Marginal Way. You'll end up on East Marginal way heading North again, flight museum is a big glass building on your right side (adjoining the airfield)about 1mile up.
Call me tonight or tomorrow when you head out.
-
Don't let Rip take you to the "Boeing Flight Museum" it's really weak, plus - Rip works for Boeing, so kick him in the nutz if he doesn't take you into the Boeing plant for a ride in one of the simulators. But not the 737 simulator, when I was there - it kept crapping out on me.
I already know what MiniDJ and SOB's "special suprise is"... the only thing you want to know about it is it contains the letters FDB and the word sammich, and you don't want any part of that sammich.

Don't forget to take him to see the big cowboy hat and boots, Rip. That's the best tourist attraction in the entire city of Seattle!

Heh, yeah, its just a deserted parking lot with tubbleweeds blowing thru it now. The buildings are still there...talking to an old timer back in 1979 when I first moved here, he said that the Hat and Boots sort of reflects what "Seattle" was like up to about the early 60's...cowboy country (A seattle surrounded by alot of farms and ranches) Then the 60's came. My how far we've come....Out where I live (about 45 min from downtown, its still like that.
