Title: Petition to remove Micky Mouse map (uteris) from rotation

It seems everyone hates the map so why not just take it out of rotation? :D

Of course some people like things that are flat and featurless = boring.

It's just that the two new terrains so far outclass everything else that it's almost a let down when mindanao and the baltic are over, and we're now looking at flying on the older maps for the next while. It's almost like "getting it over with" until the 2 new maps come back in.

Imho I think Mindanao and the Baltic should represent the two building blocks upon which newer maps are added into the rotation. I'd be all for cycling out Uterus and ndisles. Good for their time - but can't hold a candle to the latest batch.

the longer the rotation between maps the better keep it add more.........

I hate the island map with every part of me but I like rotating to a different enviroment each reset..................

Post by: Nash on August 16, 2001, 05:29:00 PM: Just a had a thought... Seems like with every major addition to AH, the older maps end up getting cycled out anyways. Like when the CVs were added, the maps that couldn't support them went away.

With the latest release we'll have trains, maybe convoys, new terrain cover and objects, and all tied into a new strat system. Will these be incorporated into existing maps or placed on entirely new maps out of neccessity? Can you even have trains on a map like ndilses?

Not sure what it boils down to, but it seems like the new maps we get correlate with the new features we get, so it may be that some maps (like in the past) will have to be cycled out anyways.

Post by: mrfish on August 16, 2001, 05:40:00 PM: no way - it isn't the best, but we need as many maps as possible for maximum variety. if they add 5 more maps you'll only see it every week maybe tops - that might make everything more groovy

Yup, have to agree. I love this map, it has plenty of fun for GVs, Jabos, furballs and even Strat. Not many others can offer that! Keep it and delete the awful ndisles! ;)
