The dead horse that has been beaten several dozen times over needs one more kick. There have been many threads about when AHII might be released, but as we approach the end of Q3, I think some of us are starting to have some doubts that it will be out within the next 19 days.
I for one would like to see a little new news about it, as I am sure many of us would as well. In looking back at previous major releases, we were treated with several preview screenshots of new planes and short news posts about what was being added or changed. Since the big press release for AHII, we have heard very little from HTC and company.
In another post, Fester asked who would be buying a new PC for AHII. I for one won't be, but I will be buying some new upgrades for my existing one. I'm holding off for as long as possible so I can get the best technology for the lowest price.
What I don't want is to buy now and then have AHII come out 2 months from now, in which case I waste money on upgrades I don't need that will be cheaper in the 2 months. On the other hand, I don't want to have to order the stuff the day AHII is released, and not be able to play until I get it in. Kind of a catch 22. I want my PC to be ready, but not until I need it.
Anyway, all that said, I think HTC must know by know if AHII will be released by month end. It would be nice if they could tell us so we can relax a little and maybe get an end to all the negative posts of late.

itd be nice for people like you and others who are gettin new comps, upgrades etc.... if HT could just give us at least an estimate nothing extact but enough so people can get ready, oh well guess we'll see what happens:rolleyes:

wonder if HTs makin the right choice by delaying info for so long, i mean i know he still got lots of customers but also i know tons have probably left AH now...... is it worth it to not give alil info?:(

LOL! If you weren't so serious your post would have been a really funny joke.

Do ya really think HT and Pyro are handsomehunkes? Ya think maybe they are not giving out much info for a reason? Hell I could think of several scenarios in which I would keep quiet until release.
In my line of work, I never draw in front of a client. Initial designs are always only part of a complete thought and are bound to change. No sense wasting time having a client critique and ask questions about incomplete thoughts.
Of course they could be doing it just to twist a couple folks titties here on the BBS, and I'd applaud them for it. Its fun to watch the little tantrums.
BTW, a ton is 2000lbs. Tons would indicate at least 2 tons, meaning at least 4,000lbs. Assuming you are not talking about the combined weight of those that have left, then you must mean that 4,000 customers, at least, have departed. Kind of a dumb statement. hunh?

hey stupid apparently ur thinking in lbs, im not and if you didnt take watermelon literally youd know exactly what i meant a ton could be 50 people which it probably is, i dont give a watermelon what HT and pyro do or the people like you on this game if AH2 never comes out i dont care, the point is why lose any customers when you could tell something even alil bit and keep those customers, so personally i think your statment of 2000,and 4000 people was really kinda DUMB dont bother replying to this admit ur a stupid oscar and go on cuz i wont look at this again anyways:mad: oscarholes anyways

The average customer is about 200 lbs. If 2 tons left, that's just 20 of them.

Only in America. I'd estimate the average European customer is about 170lbs.
We're all lightweights you see......

and 2000lbs is a US 'Short Ton'.
The UK 'Long Ton' is 2240lbs
which allows for even more of the 'lightweights' !!

yet another thread taken over by the SHEEP. God- this community has fallen so far..........

Even if it is delayed just publishing a picture of a whole plane would satify quite a lot of people in here. At least me.

I've lost faith in HTC, that one screenshot that was posted earlier looked marginally different. I highly doubt the graphics will be a great improvement(how can they be with a GF2/GF3 and a PIII800) as proposed minimum system requirements. Hell the $199.99 XBOX has those stats. I think HTC and crew was to busy trying to keep those customers with HIGHLY outdated computers happy by dummying down the graphics engine. I think AHII wont make it out in Q3 and when it does come out its gonna be a stinker. This is my opinion until HTC proves otherwise.

Dont worry Hitechcreations i still love you! bugs and all! :D

If a player was in somewhat normal shape they'd go out and do something IRL. Under those physical conditions the only place to be is a computer. That's why the average is so high.

BLAH! Im pretty sure that Hitech is keeping mouth shut until Last Day of September before Octobor 1
