man i was hoping to work on the tempest a bit today.

Skull keep in mind that the Typhoon is very similar to the Tempest, and a free ride at that. Here's a few tips I learned from Coach, who is probably one of the best Temp/Tiffy drivers in the game:
Fly 'em like a Jug, i.e. keep 'em fast and employ B&Z tactics.

Stay high...use drop tanks to get to altitude before engaging.

Neither roll especially well, especially the Typhoon...practice standing on your rudders for barrel rolls, or kicking the nose over in a hi yo-yo.

Set all 4 cannons out to d650 - the hispanos hold a fairly flat trajectory.

DA should have all planes enabled, and MA type settings.

I bet it was just down...hindsight sure works well on a bbs.
