when I try to play the game an erroro occurs......it says;
Initialization failed with -4
Joystick -10


what the hell does that mean and how do I fix it?

First thing when your reporting an error try and give your full system specs (in particular your joystick). Then us fellow beta users can try and help.

Smitty,
That happened to me yesterday, when hooking up new gear...My fix was easy, I found I did not have that particular setup recognized in windows control panel/game controller setup.
In other words it didn't have the gear status as saying OK...it said Not Connected.

the -4 error means that the JOYSTICK is not connected.  Ensure your Joy is connnect and reports as such in the joystick selection of 95/98.  Also ensure your joy is on Joy1.
