When I was in grade school, I got chased by the local bully who had a freaking wooden baseball bat. He finally caught up with me and smacked me over the head with it 2-3 times (I'm not kidding either).
He got 2 days missed recess, I got a stern lecture to "stay away from him"
I turned out just fine. 'cept for this damn twitch.... :D

Not that when I was 9 every kid didn't draw all the time in study hall, or play hoops and any other sport you could, didn't everyone, and doesn't every 9 year old today do too? Gee, what a heartwrenching standout depiction of the poor buckaroo...
I can just remember picking on kids till they fought back, or getting picked on till you fought back and that was the end of it. Good lesson in retrospect.
Kids today seem like they are learning to be liberal rutabagas.
And what's this diagnosed Post Traumatic Stress Disorder?
Hell, in Wisconsin we loved wearing "Sunday School Shoes" in the winter time, you know those awful dress shoes you'd not want to be caught dead in. But with slick bottoms, you could take a flying run at the icey hill on our school yard, and they were like insane welfare speed skis. The idea was to shoot down the hill and try to plow through the kids at the bottom of the hill trying to tackle you. We also played "Smear the Queer with the Ball", which was 30 kids and a football, you throw it in the air, a kid takes it and runs until you get pummeled. Then you threw it in the air, repeat. Tramatic fun disorder, many times with more than a cut on yer head.
This kid will be a lawyer in time for sure.

Ahh yes smear the queer was great fun as was "king of the hill". I cant remember what we called it but we would take a tennis ball and bounce it up against the garage door and the object was to catch it after one bounce. You could always pass on a ball that was bounced to high etc, BUT if you made an attempt to catch it and fumbled it or caught it on the second bounce you had to "spread eagle" against the garage door and get pelted by the person who threw the tennis ball. Maybe it was in fact called "spread eagle"?

This was a movie called "My Bodyguard" with Adam Baldwin as the bodyguard. Good movie. Worth a rental.

Cause I was a big kid, 5,10 by seventh grade and passive.
Then one day I just flipped out and started killing people! Then I wailed on my Guitar! My life as a ninja had begun!
Err well I flipped out and it took 6 others kids to pull me off the bully! LOL. that was the end of my Bully problems. They dont like picking on kids who fight back.

We played this too....fond memories.
I remeber we had two guys show up part way through a term from Canada. The older brother saw the game we were playing and joined in, before being told what would happen to him should he get possesion of the ball.
As luck would have it I was right behind him when he got it, and he was making no efforts to stop me getting close to him...like wildly swinging his arms and fists (a common tactic). I lined up on him and perfectly timed my trip. I kicked out at his tailing leg, caught it perfectly and that leg wrapped around the back of his leading leg.
Poor guy fell right on his face. He was pissed and wanted to fight me, but when he challenged me all the other kids backed me up with cries of "That is the game...you aren't allowed to get upset." He backed off.

Funny thing is, at the time, "Smear the Queer" meant absolutley nothing to us, but get tackled, then throw the ball as far away as possible and then just demolish the next guy. It was a game.
Now kids would pry sit at their palm pilots and search for the word "Queer", and decide they should all have a vote if it was proper to play such a barbaric and fun game.
Not all is lost, there would certainly be some kid to fly down the hill on slick redwings and bust their nerd party up, lol. If Laz wasn't so old... not his kid, maybe his grandkid I bet.

I remember the day I finally faught back against the bully. I got my arse kicked :D seriously! BUT :D We became friends after that and he stopped picking on me. I did get one good shot which gave him a black eye to match both of mine ;)

yeah thats how it works...bully picks on you and you can either sit there doing that ***** talk to him **** while he wailes on you or you can do the only thing that really works...fight back...or better yet get boxing lessons THEN fight back
he dont need a body guard he needs boxing lessons...

Man, this brings back memories...
I had some big fat kid named Mike Rosenthal (still remember the punk's name) who used to bully me around when I was about nine years old. He and a couple of his friends used to gang up on me for no apparent reason, and bend my fingers back until they almost broke. My dad would whoop my arse for fighting in school so I was afraid to retaliate and would come home crying. Finally, my mom got tired of seeing this and gave me the green light to defend myself.
I caught old Mike by himself one day, and lit him up like an old man's birthday cake. The puss then called the cops on me but they did nothing after they spoke to my mom.
Sometimes a kid just has to learn when to defend himself. Turn the other cheek a few times, and if that doesn't work, it's time to get busy.

It's a lot different today in school...escpecially high school where if you aren't in a gang,it's open season on you...and then they bring guns and knives to a fist fight...I disagree that it's about getting respect if you fight back..it's more about "disrespecting" some gangsta wannabe and then getting stabbed.

The problem we have in my home town is that the schools say you cannot defend yourself if you are being attacked or you will be expelled also.
So I'm supposed to tell my son that if someone comes up to him and starts beating the **** out of him that he is supposed to just sit there till the guy is done then go to the office and tell on him.
BS!!
I've made it clear to my son if ANYONE tries to hurt him he has my permission to do what ever it takes to stop them.
I dare the schools to try and kick my son out!
The second they did I'd have a lawyer right up their asses!
What is sad is that I've seen the video of a fight in our freshman lockers that showed where a kid walked up to a freshman and started punching him in the face and kicking him and when the freshman was on the ground trying to crawl away the kid started to kick him in the face so the freshman put his hands up trying to cover his face.
When the Principal saw the video he kicked BOTH kids out. The reason he kicked the Freshman out was because he put his hands up to defend himself.:mad:

we have a "no defence" policy at my high school...the most your allowed to do is block shots...or thats the official story it usually doesnt work that way because the kid whos getting his bellybutton kicked "must have done something"...
of course its much worse at the other high school in town...if you so much as SEE a fight your in nearly as much **** as the little **** who decided to beat someone up...

freshman should have realized that would have happened and fought back...even if he only got 1 or 2 good shots in thats all thats needed...it would have gotten him respect from EVERYONE...
trust me i know...this is all from personal experience (that hasnt been tampered by age)

i played smear the queer at football pratice last year. all the scared dweebs put there pads on like little kids. tards:D
