Title: Isabel Wipes out the Knights
Post by: Honch on September 18, 2003, 09:57:49 AM: I donno how many of you guys will be effected by this Hurricane, but most of my Knight friends are here on the east coast, so - if our numbers are a bit low the next few days its not because we've given up!

Post by: Dead Man Flying on September 18, 2003, 12:31:35 PM: It's not too bad here yet. The northwest part of the eye just crossed over the Moorehead City/Atlantic Beach area. Rainfall north of Chapel Hill has picked up, and the wind for the first time today has started howling.

So far it's nothing extraordinary. Unfortunately, it's just gonna get worse as the day goes on until the worst of it passes through by about midnight.

Post by: Dead Man Flying on September 19, 2003, 10:03:48 AM: Well, things weren't as bad as they could have been. The rain wasn't nearly as much as they'd predicted, but the wind surely sucked. Power stayed on here throug the duration of it, but we lost cable and phone right at the tail end of the storm last night. It's all back in working order this morning thankfully.

Now to go clean up this total mess of a yard. Maybe I'll take some pictures and post them later. :)
