Growing up in south Louisiana I experienced many Hurricanes in my life. This morning as my wife was going off to work (School Psych) she said "those lucky bastards are off from school". I said, "but they are being nailed by a hurricane"....she was still envious they were off from school. :)

I was born and raised in Raceland. We're living in San Jose, CA now. The ONLY thing I miss about Louisiana is the food.

Oh man the food. I miss my grand mother :( That place is a stink hole to be sure though! SORRY FAMILY! :D At least they pulled themselves out of the 19th century though....

That is a good point. I never thought that politics could be worse than Lousyana, but Cali has them beat now, hands down.
