No argument here.  I mean the Rams got beaten by the seahawks.  Sheesh.  that's pretty bad.

Agree on the aints... I'm really hoping they turn it around since I have Aaron Brooks on all 3 of my fantasy teams.

I haven't seen the cards much, but they did play a close one against detroit at the beginning of the year.

The Rams don't really look that bad... they've just gone up against some decent teams.  Today they had a pretty well rounded offense that gave Seattle all they could handle.  They need a pushover team to put them over the hump... that and they need to keep both Warner and Faulk off the field.

Houston really sucks.  They had a lucky opener and then fell right back down to the bottom.

I think the Raiders might just suck a lot more than people think.  We'll see if their suckiness is for real tomorrow night.  I think they could get blown out.
Of course I thought that last year, and they clobbered the Donks on MNF in their own crib.  Maybe it will happen that way again?

Yeah, the college system where the players get paid based on their performance is much better.

... at the end of the year will be:

Chicago Bears - there's a reason the Steelers let Kordell Stewart go.  Although, its not like the Bears had much choice.  Last year's Cinderella QB Jim Miller got hurt and is with the Bucs this year, and he still hasn't played a down for them.

Arizona Cardinals - They never should've given Jake Plummer all that money.  He was overrated and the Cards are still suffering from not being able to bring in more young talent because of Plummer's salary cap impact.

Cincinnati Bengals - Say what you will about the Redskins' suckage, at least there's hope for them under Spurrier.  Corey Dillon and Peter Warrick are good, but they're not going to carry the Bengals.  The team's winning ways will begin at the front office.  Once they get their plan together, they'll turn around.

On the bubble:

St. Louis Rams - once they learn how much Kurt Warner really does suck, they'll be better off.  Then again, they fell into the same trap as the Cardinals by falling in love with a QB that was overrated and paying too much for him.  I look for them to suck for at least another year.

New York Jets - if you want to see the impact a QB has on a team, just look at what the Jets are doing without Chad Pennington.

Atlanta Falcons - the only thing this team needs is a running back, a quarterback, and a safety.  Michael Vick fills two of those voids.  After watching them against the Bucs, I see a team that's losing its motivation to try.  The team is losing faith in Doug Johnson, and Doug Johnson is losing faith in himself.

Excluded:

Houston Texans - hey, they're on in their 2nd year of play.  Sure they suck, but they're still in their infancy.  I give them two more years before they can really be judged on the same level as the other teams.  Same with the Browns - they're still a new team.

Texans are just frustrating.  The actually look like a football team against miami.  Now, just pathetic.  And whoever that inked up safety, #26, is he has to go.  Hands down the worst player in football.

Ditto the Deadskins.  Franchise-tying SEVENTEEN penalties costing 142 yards against the Giants, who were little better with 15 penalties costing 124 yards.

How can people getting paid so much not even follow the most basic rules?  Ruins any chance of determining which is the better team.  No fun watching a bunch of dumb mistakes.

Sucks to be Atlanta right now...  First Vick...  Now the Fridge, I mean Sapp gets some points in, for the beatdown factor....  around the world shuffle celebration to boot.... They are going to watch that one over and over.. D back coach is going to boil somebodies head...

Chicago , Kordell Stewart Fairy... Please (if he starts calling himself slash again then they may rebound...)

Da Jets...  Vinnie magic no more... Give the guy a A+ for effort, D- for age and skill...  (I like Vinnie for his U of M days....)(Hes just old and in the new NFL thats not good...)

Its good to be the Phins... But dont worry NFL fans they will self destruct come november..  we dont want to mess with dolphin tradition now do we...

2 cents...

You're right.  The Raiders do suck.  Who would've thought Jerry Porter would be so critical to their passing game?

Faiders lack a deep threat wide receiver. (Rice is too over the hill to be too much of a threat, and is usually double-covered)

It doesn't matter who is running patterns, because Gannon is a lousy deep passer.  He had guys open deep last night and missed them repeatedly.  He's very accurate out to about 20 yards, but not beyond that.
