Would HTC release an AH "lite version" [remember the times when you had to download a less "eye-candy" version of AH?] for those who have PCs 700mhz or lower? I think if HTC plans to release a "lite version", it would save players $5000 or more just to gear up on AH2.

where does a 1gig proc based system cost over 5 grand? =0
-
PNY GeForce FX 5200 128MB DDR AGP Graphics Card - $100
1.7 ghz amd athlon xp - $100
Soyo DRAGON Plus ATX Motherboard 200/266/333MHz (Socket A) -$100
total for upgrade $300 canadian
280 if you use a gforce 4
hardly a 5000 american upgrade is it
dumnass

ok ok, im just exaggerating the cost of upgrading or buying a PC just to gear up for AH2.
-
You should slap yourself for not upgrading to a cheapo "fast" system. $100 bucks will get ya a 1.2ghz AMD cpu + motherboard... RAM = 40 bucks more.
No one is forcing you to upgrade, but you should "get with the times" :D

(Arnold's voice)
is there a "mobo" where i can get Pentium 4 with PC-133 ram memory slot and also with AGP slot for my ATi radeon 7500?
-
i speant about 250$ -=without video card/monitor=-
on a t-bird 1.2 ghz, a bit of ram (had some useable pc100 stuff laying around) and an abit kt7a - a new case/ps
this was 2+ years ago.. your getting riped off if you pay more...and no i didn't buy it off the net .. got it from loacal dealer (not compusa, bestbuy etc.... i mean, a real guy ... mom and pop .... you know real people)
and if you don't know how to build a computer .. learn ... it's as easy as pluging in your DVD :)... almost.
in this day and age I wouldn't pay much more than 100-130$ for a mobo or chip unless it's top of the line .. and you don't need 3.xGhz I imagine.... 1-2.x Ghz will do just fine... just be wise on your chipset choice

My first computer only cost £850, and that came with a scanner and a printer.

your gonna have problems finding a board that combines a p4 and pc133. In fact, I dont think they ever existed.
Dude, get yourself a p4/mb/ram combo for next to nothing.
and why on earth would you want a lite version? ISNT THAT WHAT WE ARE PLAYING NOW!!!!!!

What Zanth said. Newegg is even running a bundled combo of a biostar mini atx MB with a 1800 AMD xp for $63. I don't even need the hardware but I'm still tempted to buy it because it's so cheap :)

Geez, I hate asking these questions, guys always rip on me for this stuff, but will this be enough?
Pentium III
Windows ME
256MB Ram
Rage Fury Pro/XPert 2000 Pro
I don't know how to tell mow many MHz it is either :o

Run dxdiag

Video card won't be enough. That is the critical factor from what I am hearing about AH2. You need a GeForce/Radeon class card to be able to get any satisfaction out of the game.
