Just add the wave file to your library and get into sounds and multimedia thru: my computer - control panel - sounds and multimedia -
pick the sound you want for the function you want.

I've got:
"Hello commander, computer reporting"
From intellivision's Space Spartans
Charon
-
...I've always enjoyed the Battlestar Galactic/ Cylon Warrior voice "By your command" a must for any desktop :p
-
I use HAL, "All my circuits are performing perfectly" on my main, and on my secondary, "Grrrr, Get outta my Chair!" (The kids play on that one).

movie sounds a good site
kinda hokey since my real name is David....
but i use "Good evening Dave, everything is running smoothly, and you?"
from 2001

I replaced the windows 'error sound' with Dale Gribble from 'king of the hill'
here (http://www.strike9.com/file.aspx?path=%2fcapt_Apathy%2ffullsize%2fExternal.wav)
-
im having some problems getting the .wav onto my computer...
-
downloading it or setting it as the sound?
if it's the D/L just right click the link and choose 'save target as'
to set it to the sound goto control panel/sounds choose the item you want to change and browse to the target
-
save target is non selectable for all the sites...
-
I tried the http://www.moviesounds.com/wargames.html site and down loaded the wargames .wav just to test it, worked fine.
if thats the sound you want I can just e-mail it to ya
