Got the 22 conversion kit for the Witness (cz75 clone) 45acp compensated model that my son gave me.. It took 15 seconds to change over from 45 acp to 22 rimfire. Change out the whole top end and slam in the right mag and you're done.
The 22 is a longer barrel because it doesnt use the screw on compensator. It is a heavy barrel and so far... the thing seems very accurate and reliable. The slide stop goes through a hole that is just slide stop dia. so there is no barrel movement. the 22 is a straight blowback so it doesn't need a locked breech.
Kinda fun to shoot cheap 22's out of a heavy autoloader. Though it might make a good gun to break newbies in on. Expossed hammer and all.

I have a 22 conversion kit for my Mini-14.
Have to make sure I use only the certain kinds of ammo. Ammo that is too "weak" does not have enough power to work the action all the way back and re-**** the hammer.
The side effect of that is full-auto fire...

Oh, come on...
Let's see: An aeroplane usually has a ****-pit.

I thought that conversion was for girls? :D
