WOW, Sandman..I didn't think a Xterra could handle the load of Rubicon.
Kudo's to Nissan..& the brave driver..
Jeeps I think are still suitied better for Rubicon tho :D Leave your H2's at home...
Someday when I buy another Jeep I'd like to drive out to do the Rubicon... I've done the Appalachian Falls, in NC which is a 5-8 trail. Since I only had 31's I had clearance issues like the Xterra, but I had a Grand Cherokee which is alot bigger. And the Grand Cherokee isn't aloud on Rubicon due to it's size issues lol :D

Shweeett!
I had wondered if you could do the Rubicon in an XTerra.
On one of my first desert trips in mine, I dropped into a wash and ended up with the back right wheel hanging in the air about 2 feet when the front left dropped in. I had just stuck my head out when the front dropped. For an instant I had this sick "Here we go over" feeling in my stomach.

My wife would cringe if I told her I wanted to take her Xterra off-road.

LOL, Never leave home with out the skid plates for sure.. I remember one time in NC, not sure what this guy was doing in his 2dr Cherokee 4X4.. some how bottomed out and smashed his skid plate into the oil pan..
Let me say this.. as an ex-off roader.. never go cheap on Skid pates and lift kits.. :D
