Well, thats fine by me. A few more days wont hurt... I'd rather wait longer (but not too much longer!!) to iron everything out.

I dont know the way i read it .
It sounds like the FULL version will be late but they are releasing
AHclassic in offline form because "we have waited long enough"
That sounds promising to me;)
-
im not suprised...

Guess I'm not paranoid after all.
Meanwhile, what makes you guys think this will be "A few more days" or a couple of weeks.
All that was said was that they did not want this to go on indefinitely.
We could be looking at 2004 here, kids.
Sounds to me like they've got a long way to go.

I just want to add, as a game developer myself working on a triple A quality title and in that final stretch moving towards release - that Hitech Creations is being pretty brave here and they should be saluted for coming out and saying they're going to miss Q3.
Understand that they will have scheduled, planned and expected a Q3 release themselves but software is hard and the most unexpected things can slow down any project.
I work on a team of over 50 (with over 15 programmers) and am always surprised about what HTC pulls off with their smaller team.
Nobody will be more disappointed and worried about the missed (and self appointed) deadline than them, and they will have already worked late nights and weekends to get where they are now.
Good luck and HTC. I'll be playing a lot of AH2 when my project finishes.

Here Here:cool:
