blix also said iraq had WMD, but he needed more time to find them, like 6-12 months.

That's not what he said.
UNMOVIK inspectors were crawling all over Iraq. They had gone to the several hundred places where they were most likely to find illegal activities and found not a scrap of evidence that could hold up to even casual questioning. Muhammed ElBaradei, chief of the IAEA, said emphatically that Iraq had no nukes and could not acquire them without being discovered. Hans Blix of UNMOVIK said his team was interviewing Iraqi scientists in private and that ALL THAT REMAINED was to clear up some of the discrepancies in how Iraq disposed of CW and BW in 1991. Blix said this would take perhaps two more months at most and that Iraq was cooperating to expedite the process! Because of constant hints from your team that UNMOVIK was not quick enough to spot WMD, Iraq invited you to send CIA teams into the country to swoop down at a moment’s notice on sites they suspect.

In 1996 (IIRC), Laurent Desire Kabila did a revolution to kick Mobutu out, revolution mostly financed by the CIA. Laurent Desire Kabila became the new leader of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and by the same talken, USA "gained" the diamond mines over France.
So ... Bush is the King of Diamonds!:cool:

France also boycotted NZ's products because we caught their agents and brought them to trial, then when we agreed to let the agents serve their time in a French prison the French found ways to 'release' them early.
Thats why I find Frances attitude extremely hypocritcal (especially the boycotting dramas when the USA started boycotting French products and the French crying about it).
