I enjoy BF1942's  flight model over those.

 That should answer it.

CFS2 is the best of those three.  CFS blows monkey chunks, but you can import the aircraft into the CFS2 game engine and use them and that makes CFS2 that much better.

By importing CFS aircraft into CFS2, what you end up with is both Pacific and European aircraft over various island terrains.  The nice thing about that is that you can create situations that challenge aircraft against each other that normally wouldn't have met, like using Corsairs to dogfight ME109s and such.

The gunnery for CFS2 is a bit simpler than the one for AH, but if you're looking for a quick fix without the long climb-out, CFS2 fits the bill.  You can d/l missions and aircraft mods for CFS2 from places like http://www.simviation.com and such.

I had made some missions for CFS2 based on the memoirs of Thomas Blackburn, commander of the Corsair squadron "Jolly Rogers".  You start out with basic strafing of barges and work up to a couple of assaults against Fortress Rabaul.  They were a lot of fun.  Not sure if I still have them around or not.  I know the first three are on the Simviation website.
