Sure you are talking about "Battle of Britain"?  That was the movie with Christopher Plummer, Michael Caine and a few others.

Think you mean "1941", the comedy with John Belushi...

What is the best WWII movie? Watched Memphis Belle tonight for the 7th time probably but am looking for something more a2a.

While Geeman was making his transition from WB's to AH, just turning 5 yrs. old, I watched Memphis Bell with him, it scared the crap outta him!  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)  It dawned on him that in real life, people did die...

Does anyone have any idea if it was 633 Squadron? I really am interested in finding this out.

The special effects were a little paltry, but it was a great film all the same.

Dowding, yes it was 633 Squadron, with Cliff Robertson.

You can buy it for 19.95. Good footage of Mosquitos flying, landing (real), poopy combat action shots (models).
