Just something I came across today.
It's an advisory from the Simon Wiesenthal Center to exercise extreme caution when traveling to France due to rise in hate crimes against Jews.

I wonder if they have any problems with Americans.

So the Simon Wiesenthal center is out to provide "bait" for the purpose of this BBS?
Or maybe the French must explain themselves for the ouburst of this hatred. I mean just because France failed to save your buddy Saddam and his support of Palestenian suicide bombers it doesnt mean you should try to finishg the job yourselves on yoiur own Jewish citizens.
Now thats bait... :)
But seriously I have seen reports of an upswing in anti-semetism in france the last few years, you guys really should reeximine your values.

Definitely possible. However I think the French have a bigger problem just going by some of the attitudes towards america and israel.

I would tend to think there are more immigrants in Amercica than France. I've not read of any increases in Anti-Semitic crimes, but I would have to look at the numbers.
It could be the same here, but I simply don't know.

Do you know how much a Parisian pay for the clean up ?
And can you tell me what is the repartition of the people tagging Morisson grave is it 50% french 25% german 25% english or anothre figure ?
The only thing sure is that the french pay for the clean up.
Muckmaw using more than 1 year old information is a good way for trolling.

Wiesenthal organisation is just a bunch of whiners stuck to past history.
They're collecting points (more donations) with that report.

You're just pissed off the SWC is getting info out about Swiss collaboration with Hitler and you are afraid of lawsuits asking to return jewish monies or valuables the nazi's stole and put in your Swiss banks. Neutral my as, you damn nazi.

I wasnt around 60 years ago, nothing I can do about my country's past. However Swiss banks still hold million and millions of Nazi stolen gold, siaf-csf refuses to accept that responsibilty - so he is still a collaborator...
I went over this with Boroda before but I'll tell it to you as well - I fully accept that Croatia did many evil things in WW2 and as far as I can, considering the nature of the crimes, I have come to terms with it and recognize that it was a terrible chaper in our history. However it must also be remebed that an equally significat number of Croatians were partisans allied with the western powers and fighting the Nazis - and giving them one hell of lot of trouble.
So crack jokes and cast accusations all you want but they will have no effect on me as I have reached an undersading and an acceptacnce of those events as part of my people's history - I have nothing to hide, nothing great to deny, nothing to overlook nothing that I need to ignore about that period or feel appresensive at the mere mention of.
But Siaf still seems to hold a grudge about the SWC and their activities. Not to meantion he feels a strong cumpulsion to hide something as insignificant as his country of origin or residence.

Collaborating with what exactly?

Not even close. Not even by a long-shot.

Well I would say storing stolen property is collaboration.. :)
But hell it's not like they sold them metalic raw materials, like ohh like Sweden?
Here are some atrocious lies about Sweden and Nazi Germany that I'm sure you will be compelled to deny.. (http://www.adl.org/Braun/dim_14_1_neutrality_europe.asp)
You see you were both good and bad at times...
As for the other thing there were FAR more Croatian Partisans then there were Ustashe..

And I'd say that this quote sums up your legal abilities quite nice...

No...why would I? It happened dozens of years before my birth. I nad nothing to do with it, nor do I feel some compelling urge to get down on my knees and beg forgiveness for my countrys actions.
As for the other thing there were FAR more Croatian Partisans then there were Ustashe..
LOL, sure...just like there were hundreds of thousands of partisans in France...after the war...
-
LOL you are a lawyer type, i am not and doont care for the terminology.. :)
Anyway collaboration may not be a "legalese" appropriate term, but those Swiss banks banks holding on to that Nazi gold is pretty bad any way you cut it - especally after the war and for so long.
Good, I'm happy to see you have come to terms with your country's past.
Yes it's a good joke, like the French. :)
While most Croatians initally welcomed the german's as liberators and friends due to our cultural ties, the vast majority of that goodwill was wasted after Hitler gave so much of Croatia to Italy. The actaul ustashe were rather small in number and far from a "peoples" movement - they were howvwer the government and enjoyed military support from the axis powers. But many people started joining the partisans due to Hitler's actions, or because they were communists or socilaits or western leaning and yes indeed in disguist to Ustashe brutality and stupidity. These factors created so many partisans and Croatian resistance, otherwise I think it's fair to acknowledge that in all likelyhood Croatia would have been a more solid ally to Germany due to old cultural links from the Austro-Hungarian empire days. So all in all there very several hundred thousand Croatian partisans including of course Tito who was leader of all partisans. Thise forces caused significat trouble to the nazis and tied up a great deal of forces. Hardly some phantom movement that only materialized after the war as you say...
-
Grunherz you're more responsible for the crimes of croatians than I'm responsible for anything the swiss have done.
Because I'm not swiss. :rofl
No further proof needed that you're a bit thick Grun. I repeated it enough times.
