for Wednesday's snapshot "Targets Over London".
We will have plenty of slots open for bomber and fighter pilots alike.
Walkons are welcome and squads are encouraged to participate.
Roll time is 10:00 pm edt but please be early so we can get underway on time.
From the German stand point the Battle of Britain was fought in 3 stages. The 3rdstage was fought between August 8 and September 7, 1940. In this action thebombers returned to the task allocated to them by the first Luftwaffe Chief of Staff,General Wever, 'The enemy air force must be wiped out while still grounded'. Due to the limited range of the German escorts only one tenth of the isle wassubject to attack, much of which was near or around London. The rest of the islewas allowed to build squadrons, train men, and ship men and equipment withoutinterference to the war front near London.

Question: In the link you provide the RAF gets 70% Hurricane I's and 30% Spit I's. But in the AH calendar Snapshot write up the RAF gets 100% Spits. I assume/hope your link is the correct one, since 70-30 would be more historical.

That is correct MRPLUTO, go by the link that I provided. The original design was written when we were more limited by the plane set that was available to us.
We now have a more historically accurate planeset to work with. :)
If we have good numbers, I'll be glad to run two frames.
