Anyone looked at these? Apart from the cute cables are they worth looking at yet?

I'm upgrading a PC at the mo and I'm wondering whether a SATA capable Mboard is worth it right now. Actual HD prices seem to be comparable with ata-133.

If you can go SATA, go for it.
If only for the better more organized cables.

I'm running dual 36 GB Western Digital Raptor 10k rpm drives in a RAID 0 array and it is about 30% faster than my previous setup which was dual 80 GB Maxtor Diamondmax 7200 rpm drives.

fyi: future sata II (real SATA) drives will use 3.3v and will require a different power suppy/connector    if your building a new sys for the long term be advised to get a ps that will do this......
