ya, the Moehne Dam wasnt the only one hit was it?  I saw somewhere where after the lancs destroyed that one, they went and got a few more smaller ones.

(pretty impressive that those Lanc guys flew under 100 feet in total darkness to drop the seaskimming bombs)

These were the targets: The Möhne, Eder and Sorpe dams the Lister and the Eneppe dams.

Well alot of them crashed and were shot down tho..

i do some research .... and i learn that the RAF made some mission over germany ...the purpose was to cut down the dams which provide to sent electrical power to the enemy factories and city....

 those action were called "Dambusters' raid"
one of them  was the raid over the Moehne dam

so could Bradi's  photo  be a reconaisse pic showing that dam after the raid?? seems yes

in the picture i can see 2 tower and the broken beetwin them...

i found a pics, taken by german after the raid showing only one tower but in the second , very small pic, u can see a detail showing the break beetwin the 2 towers

so at 80% it's the Moehne dam
