Title: low iq more kids ?

today we had a tv show that with a professor that claimed that the lower the iq the more kids you have :(
And in the bitter end that will give the country a low iq all over.
(I understand the point that high educated people wait long before they get childs but ......)

What a freaking **** if you ask me.

well what do you gentelman mean ?

PS! Got only 1 child so far and guess I have a high IQ .:confused:

It's a twisted logic... People with low IQs are generally poor. Poor people tend to have large families... Therefore, people with large families have low IQs.

I don't necessarily agree with this logic, but I must admit that the majority of my in-laws seem to be on some form of government subsistence; they are poor; they are stupid; and there's a damn lot of 'em.

Rather, those with lower IQ's tend to have more children than those with higher IQ's. Just as those with lower incomes tend to have more kids. Facts are facts . That does not make it good or bad.

Nearest I can tell, smart people like to spend all their time proving how dumb the rest of the world is and how much dumber it's going to get. Then they go get their car washed while a maid cleans their house before going out to dinner and then heading home while remembering to call the plumber about the toilet that keeps running.

trolla - that professor spoke of a "correlation" between two things, but remember that correlations do not necessary indicate a cause and effect relationship. Just saying...
