Title: F/A-18: Operation Iraqi Freedom by Graphsim - opinions?
Post by: gofaster on October 01, 2003, 08:10:14 AM
So I bebopped down to Best Buy to pick up a copy of "The Treasure of Sierra Madre" and saw "F/A-18 Hornet: Operation Iraqi Freedom" for $20.  I've played around with the earlier "Hornet" sims - "F/A-18 Hornet 3.0" and "Hornet: Korea" (blasting down the 747 over Hawaii with my nose cannon during the training mission was a hoot :p  ) - and am looking for something quick and easy to do when not flying online.

Anybody try this one yet and care to comment?  I found a review by Dan "Crash" Crenshaw that was pretty favorable but thought I'd ask the AH community what they thought about it.

Well, I went ahead and picked it up today at lunch, since I had to stand in line to pay for my copies of the CNN documentaries about Sept 11 and the Iraq War anyway.

Watch a film, then blow up Iraqies, might make for a good way to spend a rainy afternoon.

They also had Baghdad Bob's (the Iraqi Information Minister) speeches on DVD for $8.  I may go back for that later.
