I watched it for about 10 minutes one night. It was ok, nothing to miss Reno 911! for.

I start watching it, but lose interest quick and head back to the computer.

Heh. It's a soap opera with a football team.
I think it's pretty funny stuff, especially since it just plays on all those NFL cliches: the owner is an interfering jerk, the veteran a wifebeater, his young rival a cokehead, the quarterback is gay.

Oh yeah, and they slip in plenty of babes.

Does it include the vet who wants to be traded because the team sucks?

Any skin?

I could write a soap opera about sports.  Doesn't take much imagination.

Next episode:  a player whacked on 'roids beats the crap out of a teammate during practice.

After that: a commentator makes a disparaging remark about a player and it involves race.

And then: a kicker is found to have ties to the al Queda network in North Africa.

exactly.  These things write themselves, and with a body of sports reporters on call, you can get plenty of "not fit for broadcast" stories, mix in some scantily clad babes and plenty of drug references, and away you go.

The kicker having ties to Al-Qaeda.  THat's pretty good.
