I'm just wondering if you map makers are wasting your time now that AH2 is on the horizon.
Will your current projects be AH2-friendly?

Hehe... no such thing as wasted time. Think of it as advanced learning. :)
I don't think the current terrains will be directly compatible with AH2.

:lol good attitude, Dux. but, i think i'll hold off on trying to create my terrain idea until these guys release the new terrain editor.

The way I understand it, existing terrains will be compatible with AH2 on a basic level - you'll be able to use them in AH2 but they won't contain the visual complexity of terrains designed around AH2 capabilities. Existing terrains should be upgradable to AH2 standards once the AH2 TE is released.

This is good news for you mapbuilders... the AH2 Beta map uses FesterMA. That map has only been in HTC's hands for about 3 weeks.
I interpret this to mean that whatever you're working on right now will be easily brought up to AH2 standards.
