ok, i know this is getting a bit off the thread i started, but are the hornets bishops? all those in favor of them placing multi monitor support and text buffering in AH2 say AYE. all apposed answer by the like sign. all those abstaining have been counted as an AYE as well. motion carries. well hitech balls in ur court now. ;)

For MM support, AH2 would have to run as a windowed application, which would automatically allow MANY great benifits inherent in being able to use multiple windows.  We could have text buffer, and clipboard (which would need to be changed to a 2d object...its currently a 3d object in case you didnt know) on monitor #2.

I for one LOVE the idea, but doubt we will see it anytime soon

It would be as simple as coding a simple COM link (or crude windows messages/DDE) to another aplication on the 2nd screen.

this way AH2 won't have to be run windowed and the 2nd application could be on another PC...

Problem with that is that you cannot manipulate the 2d screen in any way while in the 3d game without the game being in a window.  While your way works...it removes all functionality and locks you into a preset.

This question has been asked umpteen times. If it has ever been answered I missed it. Suspect it is pretty low on the HTC list of things to do.

My 1 monitor only accepts refresh rates to 60Hz - can I up this with a utility? or is it a firm hardware issue?

I'm all for multiple monitoring

Black Sheep,

What model monitor do you have?  It's very rare for any monitor newer then 5 years old to be limited to 60hz.
