Title: meteor
Post by: J318 on October 12, 2003, 10:40:02 AM
Recently (about 5 minutes ago) I found out that the Gloster Meteor almost 100mph faster than the ME 262 so if HTC didn't add it to AH1 because of the fact they were almost identicle in all others ways (apart from one being German and the other British) then I reckon (for more perk) you could get a Meteor and finally out run the flash bastard in 262

Depends

Me 262

Me262 A-1a: 870 km/h
 Most used ammo - 4x30mm
Me262 A-2a: 755 km/h
 Strike Variant - ammo 2x30mm + 2x250 kg bombs

Two seat night fighter
 Me262 B-1a: 800 km/h

Meteor

Meteor F Mk. III oprtational in WW2 year 1944
 Speed: 795 km/h

Later varianst post WWII

Meteor F Mk.8 Year: 1949
   Speed: 962 km/h
Meteor NF.11 Year: 1950
   Speed: 871 km/h

As you can see - the operational Meteor in WW2 Was Slower then most used Messershmit A-1a

Me262 was much better then Meteor in WW2
