I had just that problem with a MSI FX5600 not two days old. I tried /everything/. Uninstalling, running destroyer to sweep clean reinstalling about three different driver sets even Omega's nothing seemed to work. Not just AH but all my 3d apps. So...btw I even did a fresh format of the HD and reinstall using win98SE, Win2k, WinXP AND Server 2003. Nothing worked with the card.

So, I did a search for the latest Beta drivers which every says not to touch because they're buggy? Well at least for my Fx5600 card they cured all my ills the first time around. I've had zero errors not even a trace of an artifact when OC'ing the card. They work flawlessly. At least for me.

Win2k with all the updates.
1.8Ghz Intel on a Ecs motherboard.
728meg of ram
MSI Fx5600

AH runs just fine with those drivers still  installed ...
the only problem is its hd isnt big enough to test it with BF 1942 ,f1 2002 , generals or any of the games that messed up on my other 2 pc's..

I'm running the Det 45.23 on a Win98SE machine with a GF3 Ti 200 128meg and DX9b and no problems at all.  Maybe try Destroyer Remover and remove all traces of the Nvidia drivers and then reinstall them to make sure it's a clean install.

The 45.xx drivers have some known problems Ack-ack.  Unfortunately, most NVidia drivers are pretty system centric lately.

This is why we recommend the 30.82 or 41.09 for overall stability, these two sets are known to be the best.  The 30.82's were the last Det's to be optimized for the GF2/3 class of video card (which includes the GF4 MX cards).
Everything up to the 45.xx drivers were optimiozed for the GF4Ti series and everything after that has been optimized for the FX cards.

I've come to the conclusion that the 45.xx drivers with the newer tweek program just arnt compatable with the older gf mx cards...

I went back to the 28.92's (i think) and game play resumed as normal

the last machine that failed w/those drivers was a fresh install of os and those drivers... the other two had overwritten install done.

Well, knock on wood but Aces High seems to do fine with my Windows XP Home with 45.23 and DirectX 9.0b.  I use the NVidia GeForce4 4400 128MB at 1024x768 32bit 75Hz unlim fps.

The 45.23 driver needs DX9.0b & G4 to work well and they do work really well. If you beleve in benchmarks see for yourself. Unfortunatly no baseline for ATI 9xxx cards was available.
