Two really nice things that I hope to see in AH someday:

1. Clouds
2. Impressive muzzle flashes, those look pretty convincing unlike the identical and small 'candleflames' seen in most sims.

Of course, the plane in picture would be nice to have too  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Clouds are always nice to have. Muzzle flashes are not quite so neccessary.

Muzzle flash: IMO, unrealistic, except at night.

Daytime.

Remember these are 23mm shells.  From a VYa.  Nearly 200g in mass for the shell alone.

I also have seen numerous examples of daytime muzzle flash on old WWII-era reels.  I find it intriguing that so few people haven't witnessed these very common b&w and color images on the numerous History Channel episodes.  I distinctly remember the P-51 and the P-38 firing in flight with very visible muzzle flash.  I believe muzzle flash should be rendered as such but with semi-transparent make-up rather that a solid one.
