Title: Well I sold it.

I sold the GTO.

I just did not have the time to keep it up and the only time I drove it was on ocasional weekeds.


so now I have no GTO... lol should I get a new web board name?

I may get a beater to work on in a few months.... Maybe.

I am not sure I want to work on cars by choice anymore. hehe

Don't worry.  The new GTO's come out next year.  Then, you can have your GTO and let the dealer worry about the repairs. ;)

LOL I do not think I will be buying a new car anytime soon...

We have (in both my and my GFs name) a 2003 Yukon, it is very nice but we are making payments.


The other car is a 2002 chevy truck, it is payed for though.

But I think one car payment for now is good.

I was thinking more along the lines of a basket case 68 GTO, or maybe an old fullsize blazer.

Well as of right now, I do not miss it. Still, I never got all that attached to this car. Maybe I just didnt work on it enough.

thinking of throwing a supercharger in the truck.

Its the little 4.8 litre V8 but it is not slow.


Laz, you ever think about giving up on cars?  How do you feel about how pricey everything is getting?

wellllllll....  sure, thought of giving up on cars and guns and women at one time or another.

All cost the same... everything you've got.   I have changed the way I do things these days... I don't get that last 50hp or 50fps or that flawless woman anymore...  When you do that you don't tear stuff up and you cut down on the expense.

I don't care if the car is a little ratty... I shoot cast lead slugs below maximum most of the time and I haven't worried about trophy women for ages.

I'm not interested in new cars... I don't have car payments.   Buy a few guns once in a while and reload for em... Play AH..  buy DVD's every month.   Keep girlfriends for about a year or so until they get smart and actulay believe what I am telling them.

Not into keeping up the house or clothes or even eating out..  mostly eat to live anyway.

I still get things out of cars and guns and women that I can't get out of anything else.   plus... they keep me active and social.   Seems like a good deal to me.  

Can't get fuel anywhere with either of my cars without someone coming up and talking to me.   wouldn't have it any other way.
