Title: PC Halo

anyone try it? i got a burned copy of it yesterday and i dont think it holds to the xbox version.  Its the same game but i think the XBOX runs smoother and i dont like to use the mouse/keyboard. I guess im use to the xbox but i think its good that they released it so others who dont have xbox can play halo.

I dont have the best and fastest computer but since i have xbox i guess i think the PC version of halo is crapy.


anyone else played the PC version of Halo?

Shameful conversion IMHO. Directly ported from XBOX, no code optimizing. Even on hi-end machines it stutters sometimes.

Don't bother.

I got it, runs fine on my machine, which I consider a mid level box sitting here.  My biggest gripe was that the game is a year old and it shows.  If this would have been released intot he PC market a year ago it would have made a much bigger splash.  That and the omition of a cooperative multiplayer mode  made it a bit of a disappointment to me since that was one of the main selling points for my friends and I back when it was in development before the Microsoft buy out.  All that being said I still found the game fun, and enjoyable.

im glad im not the only one who feels like that.  I too love to play it but compared to the xbox the PC version is crap.
