Well, well, Who would have thought it? Ms. Dynamite (above) has won an award for her stance against guns. This was reported in today's Daily Telegraph. The report continues

Ms Dynamite, whose real name is Niomi McLean-Daley, urged the Government to do more to counter gun crime. She said: "They need to put a lot more time, money and effort into poverty stricken areas." She accused the major record labels of encouraging music that glamorised guns.

She accused the major record labels of encouraging music that glamorised guns or, more to the point, gun crime and guns in the wrong hands.
Nice to see she acknowledges that its the criminal at fault and not the guns.

The Communist Party is now giving the Dems it's full support????

Hmm  ...  gun control?  Speaking of songs?  The songs reported to have been on the above site seem very interesting????

Nope, sorry - that was me. A cut and paste error. Rip can laugh 'cause he's had more practice at C&P. :p I've corrected the quote now. It was MY comment about guns in the wrong hands. I was trying to be nice because I know Lazs is going to read this. ;)

Mickey - I feel sure that one of those guys is Funked in disguise.

Dont be silly Deja, I highly doubt that Ms Dynamite would ever say to Beetle:  "Ooooh baby, you're so manly, let me make this night last forever".

Did anyone actually say there were in favor of gun crime?

:p

And btw, did anyone catch this at the bottom of the article?
Quote
Ms Dynamite defended the So Solid Crew, the south London "garage" music collective with which she had her first hit, despite several of its members having being convicted of gun crimes.

"You can't judge the whole group by actions of one, two or three of them," she said.

So all those nasty singers who are promote gun crimes with their lyrics should be ashamed of themselves.  But don't say bad things about my old group just becuase one, or two or three (how many are there in a crew btw?) are actually involved in gun crimes.

:rofl

Read the papers, they NEVER hit their intended targets, its always innocent bystanders.

Gun control means "hitting your target".

ya know... I have never heard of any of these black people in the thread...  I will go out on a limb tho and say that there is a 90% chance that I won't agree with anything any of them have to say.

There is a 10% chance that I will agree with something they have to say.... I would say that makes me pretty open minded eh?

Masked grown men wearing gang colors and flashing gang simbols?  I don't know if I would shoot them, but I certainly would not go near them.

Then again, if one of them walked into a bank and I were a bank security guard........
