The 9800 Pro is the same as the All-in-Wonder 9800Pro except it doesn't have the video editing hardware and tv tuner correct?
Also the 128 uses faster memory than the 256?
Am I correct?

well you cant dual monitor with the AIW, other than that I think they are the same. btw I have the AIW 9800Pro, great card.

The 9800Pro 256MB uses DDR2 memory, and is faster than the 128MB 9800Pro, which uses DDR1 memory.
The AIW boards are different, but the 9800Pro AIW appears to hold the performance levels of the standard 9800Pro.
And the 9800XT 256MB is faster still.

Im not aware of any product that requres 256megs.
I would go for the 128 meg card,as it generates less heat

then you've never heard of a product called Xsteel :)

Actually save, UT2003 has a mode where it needs 256MB as a minimum to run.
Also consider, if you run with an AA at 1600x1200 @ 32 bit color, you could very well need more than 128MB of RAM to maintain the performance. The use of anti-aliasing requires quite a bit more memory.

Questions, if anyone has the time.
If your card has 128MB memory on board, will setting the AGP aperture to 128 or 256 (from the default 64) have any positive effect?
With the ATI cards I have seen it reccomended to turn off "Fast Writes" in the smartgart tab, but in my MB bios the APG fastwrite is on by default, should it be turned off there also?

If I'm not mistaken the AGP aperture should be set using the system ram as a guide not the Video Card ram.
I believe I heard the aperture should be half your total system ram, 512mb system = AGP aperture of 256

Maybe this will help. (http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=93327)
