Also had this problem too Flossy.  Even when I lowered my resolution/depth, etc, things seem  to flicker neon green a lot.

What make/model of video cards and ram?  What DX version?  What driver version?

You can get all this from DXDIAG.  Go to Start->Run and type in DXDIAG and press .  Thanks folks.

Here you go Skuzzy, I hope this is right:
Both computers:
Video: Radeon 9500 with 128 MB of memory
DX Version: 9.0 DirectX
Processor: AMD Athlon

And for the record, I think despite the little problems, everything looks great! :)

Hope this is what you want.... though, apparently, it may be a problem with my CPU which is going to be changed.

I would lean more towards your Video card...

I'm sure 32 MB cards isn't enough

Skuzzy, to piggyback on what Athena wrote earlier:

The same flickering green boxes are showing up for me in the ammo counter and weapon name boxes in the P-51D.  Haven't tried the other planes, but I'm betting it's safe to guess that those would flicker too.

DxDiag info for my computer (also the one Athena was using earlier)

I get exactly the same thing.  On clipboard, bases flash alternately green then pink, very rapidly.  Ammo counters flicker pink, text in hanger flickers pink and black.

Also getting the texture swapping that some users have reported (external textures of plane appear on the inside, white blanks or underneath texture where wings should be, etc.).  This doesn't happen on the first plane I choose on startup, but with increasing severity on all subsequent planes.  By the third plane I was also losing tracer effects and hit sprites as well.

An update Skuzzy, I downloaded the Cat 3.8 drivers and it got rid of the flickering boxes on the clipboard and in the plane.
