Havoc, that 5200FX card is not much faster than a GF2 Ultra. You are getting what I would expect from the Beta and that video card. Remember, AH2 is more video card dependent than AH1 is.
Remember, it is a Beta.

No prob! I will try it on my home monster tonite... also have a Quadro in this machine so will try that.
Thanks Skuzzy!
Beer is on me tonite, you guys did good today.

OK HA HA!
I tried same machine, switching to the Quadro 2 Pro GL card and fps dropped to 3 -5.
Guess I shouldn't be playing games at work!
-
I could have told you the Quatro cards were going to be really slow. They are designed for OpenGL acceleration and not D3D.

I'm getting approximately the same FRP's. On average 12 to 14.
My system:
CPU: Intel 800 PIII
Video: Radeon 8500 128M
Driver - 6.14.10.6387
RAM: 512 MB
Operating System: Windows XP
DirectX: 9.0
The clouds were causing a small problem as they flickered in and out. I turned off horizon and everything is looks great.
