Title: Tree? what tree?

would be nice if the stacked trees had a texture on the side so you could see that you were about to smack some trees. As it is if your level with them by the time you realize there are trees there its waaaay too late whereas in RL it's easy to tell :D

Was just thinking the same thing...

What will be cool is when the trees can be seen from the horizontal... those chases with planes at 50' off the ground will get a lot more interesting when there are trees to dodge :D

the trees are much like il2. In il2 at low alts its easy to collide with the trees. If they added more layers to the the top section it might appear "thicker" and be seen a little better.

Or they could make  cone shape layers or off set the horizontal at like a 30 degree angle so they appear thicker.

Wrapping the ground cover trees with actual trees rows would be time consuming. Theres no way to make forests with trunks and all. But the canopy as is adds cover for gvs and that what folks were looking for.

Canopy isnt gonna do jack watermelon to help GVs if we can't get under it..

collideability is a setting. Haven't found it in the beta, but from HT's comments it should be in the full version.

I;ve noticed ground clutter isn't working in beta, when they put it in i;m sure it will fill in the disk... er trees.

I just hope they keep the trees in and not do like they did in AH, make them disappear. was fun hiding behind them and catching gv,s passing by. what they did in AH was left all GV's out in the open. to stop some that dont use gv's from crying cause they hit them with thier plane.. (watch where your going then) it was about the only thing that i did not like in AH and i use every vehicle and alot of the planes in the game since i do more support of a base then fur ball and bomb more than furball.. Keep the trees in this time so gv,s can be more of a pest . To those flyboys .. that is the only guess some will call whine i have. Miss hiding in the trees making people look for me and catching gv's sneaking by me

Unfortunately the barns are terribly obvious hiding places :p
