Title: Wouldnt Open

Couldnt get it to open at all.
It installed ok but when I hit the icon I Got ---;

           !!! Aceshigh has caused an error in
   ACESHIGH.EXE.
   Aceshigh will now close.

   If you continue to to experience problems,
   try restarting your computer.

      ---Error Window

Tried restarting comp & game several times, didnt help.
Dell, P3-866,128sd, 20gig, nvidia 64, soundblaster, windows ME, ViewSonic PF790

When I hit OK from the "Select Video Card" screen I get the message:

Initialization Failed with -3
mainGR3D_FAILED -1

I am running Win98, AMD XP1700, Nvidia Geforce3 Ti200 (latest Nvidia reference drivers), and DirectX 9 (off the windows update).

Same message regardless of the different video settings I tried at the "Select Video Card" screen.

I cant get past the desktop/startup icon. I get the error message right away

try copying your settings folder from ah1 and pasting it into ah2

Tried that too.  Didn't make any difference.

Not sure why they decided to take my post and post it as a reply to bobbert's post.  It doesn't seem to be the same problem.  Different error messages at different stages.

wondered that too Frost., but this is my first time posting anything so how would i know.
But glad to have you aboard :)
Someone in game suggested vid card upgrade for me. Could use it but i dunno for a fix.

I am having the same problem as frost, when I try to run the Icon, I get this message after the video options...

"Initialization Failed with -3
mainGR3D_FAILED -1"

I noticed that no video cards are available for selection in the top window of the video options screen.

I am using an NVIDIA Gforce 2 Ultra 64 MB, driver: 2.9.5.8, 7/2/2001

I hope this helps you guys at HTC, keep up the good work!
